The Oasis

The beautiful oasis from afar stands out

Surrounded by fairly cut marigold thicket

The clear water in the hole quests thirst

I often yearn to draw and swim in it

At the slight touch of my water gourd

Water in the oasis create a ripple crowd

The gourd drips droplets on the marigold

Replenishing everything and all is cured

My water gourd wet goes inside again

The oasis does not complain or bargain

The gourd's touch makes it want to gain

Urging my gourd the speed to maintain

At last the gourd hits the water surface

A fountain gushes out and hits my face

The warm water falls on the right place

Soon afterwards the gourd falls and breaks
