Quest For Love

In my quest to find you

I lost myself

I blindly gave my heart out

And denied me myself

I  rejoiced seeing you happy

While forgetting to make self happy.

When you left i cried and begged

But in leaving you were happy.

No day passes without thinking of you

I hope you too do when making out

With that man you claim to love.

  1. This is a very beautiful poem, Mike. Very contemporary. Highlighting how in the quest of finding love we forget to leave our self a little; not just in case, but just by default. I feel sorry for the persona who even wishes the lover thinks about them while with the other. Kudos, dear Mike!
And Ooh, reminded me of Flash fiction. Very short, but huge in expression!

  2. Waiting for Volume 2. This is deep. Artistically choreographed.
