I Will Love You, Now and Forever

As her body dangled from that tree, lifeless and worthless,it silently told of all the tribulations it had gone through when it was alive.Even in death, its' face glowed and its' shape was as attractive as ever. It's unfortunate that tough tides of life had made her believe that she was a nobody, that she would never succeed at anything, even in love that she had so much tried to give her all.

It is funny how people promise to love each other forever in this world where life itself is temporal-it does not last forever.Someday when her blood was both fresh and hot,she longed for a man that would take away all her worries, love her for who she was rather than who she was not.She longed to sleep and wake up beside a barely clothed man who she would call a husband. As time flew the man she longed for finally came her way.A good looking, well built, fairly tall and light in complexion.A man who would drive the current generation of slay queens in to ecstasy and as every man promises or rather lies,he promised (lied) to love her forever.

Just as bad things dont last forever so does good things. After several years, the friendship between Fred and Steph had moved from that of acquitances to friends and then from friends to lovers in a very quick succession.Steph didn't want to take any chances with Fred, acting hard to get for she feared that if she did Fred would get a lady who was acting easy to get and she would lose him.Fred and Steph soon started making out and making out lead to making love within no time.Any time they did,Fred would whisper lovingly in to Steph's ear "I love you,now and forever".His voice would send a mixture of both cold and warm chills down her spine and she would reply "i love you too,now and forever my love"

How things change fast. After no time Steph started realizing that Fred meant that he would love her 'now' more than he would forever. The marriage was quickly rolling towards the cliff and it needed not much time and off the cliff it would be.Infidelity was the sole cause of the ever unending quarrels and squabbles in Fred and Steph's marriage. What was supposed to be a family 'property' if not Fred's had become a societal property.Fred would use it on any pulchritudinous damsel he came across and romours never took long before reaching Steph.Anytime she tried to ask why he was doing it,whether he was unsatisfied at home both in the stomach and down the stomach a fight would ensue.

Fred would beat her and leave her for dead yelling "I never loved you! Your trying to tame me like a young lad is tamed by its'mother is sickening. If you are tired of me just take your belongings and go and before you hit the gate another stupid woman as you will be in this house begging for my love!" Steph, lying on the floor bleeding would respond to his abuses silently. Her heaving breasts-from sobs-enclosed pain no woman would wish to experience.Pain of love gone sour due to unfaithfulness!

One day Steph grew tired of all the insults Fred hurled at him.She became sick of the baseless kicks and blows she used to get.The forever that she had been promised dawned on her that it was never meant to last forever. She took a rope and held it silently in her hands. She decisively weighed the two options she had-live and continue to suffer or die and get relieved of the suffering. The latter seemed best after considerable thoughts.Steph climbed a tree by the help of a stool and from up she let herself down. And she was gone, this time not the creepy forever but FOREVER. At the time of need,Steph had found no one to let her know that she needed to live more than she needed to die.Hanging from that rope, she resembled a piece of diamond which had withered from the turbulents and strong hurricanes of life but which could have gained it's former state if it was slightly dusted off.
